Lindsey Hawkins Bowman is a Jonesboro native, and while her title says she’s the Chief Psychologist – she’s not actually a psychologist or a doctor, but does find herself in situations where she is helping clients study and examine the minds and behaviors of themselves and also their target audience. She jokingly fills the role of “mom” for her employees too, which lends itself to plenty of opportunities to act as an unlicensed therapist. She and her best friend, Katie Spencer, co-founded Polish in 2020.
Lindsey is a Jonesboro native; she graduated from Westside High School and went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arkansas State University. If you want to see her resume and job history, you can check that out on LinkedIn. She is married to her husband, Derek Bowman, who is a VP at Simmons Bank in Jonesboro. They have three daughters – Beckett, Lainey and London. They are proud supporters of the A-State Red Wolves.
Katie was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR alongside Lindsey. She graduated from Arkansas State in 2010 with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish. Katie joined Lindsey in transforming Lindsey’s consulting business into a full service marketing agency in late 2019. Katie’s has worn several different hats as the business has grown. She now serves as the Business Analyst where she handles HR duties, manages budgets, analyzes insights, places ads and helps keep the business side of things running smoothly and efficiently. We always like to pick her creative brain as well.
As for Katie’s personal life, she is married to Reiner Alpizar Ovares, a talented Costa Rican photographer. She currently works remotely in Costa Rica with plans to move back to Jonesboro soon. She loves to travel, spend time with her friends and coworkers, and sip coffee on her front porch.

Though he is a city boy at heart, Cody spent most of his life growing up in the small town of DeWitt, Arkansas. He moved to Jonesboro in 2013 to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism from Arkansas State University. Cody graduated with that degree in 2017, and immediately began working for a local magazine as an editorial writer and photographer. In January 2021, Cody made the decision to join the polish team as the Creative Content Director, allowing him to do what he loved while also gaining experience in the social media marketing world. Today, Cody is the Social Media Director, handling and assisting with all of polish’s social media clients. A good way to get on Cody’s good side is to bring him an iced coffee or introduce him to new tunes.
After finishing high school as a 2020 Covid graduate, Taylor decided to continue her education at Arkansas State University. She is currently working on completing her Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in Marketing. After her graduation in May of 2024, she plans to stick around Jonesboro for a few more years! Taylor found Polish through social media and became one of our Fall 2022 interns-turned-employee! As one of our three content curators, she works hard to plan, execute, and polish new content for clients each week. Originally from Cabot, AR, Taylor did not come far. In her free time, she loves going home to see her family, going on trips with her friends, spending time at the pool, and taking morning walks to Shadrachs.

Rey was born and raised in Costa Rica. He has shot hundreds of luxury properties in Costa Rica and luxury events in several countries across Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean. Luxury real estate and event photography/videography had been his focus for the last 10 years, but Covid pushed him to expand his skills in commercial photography and videography. His versatile and unique style brings a high quality touch to any project. Fun fact, he is married to our Business Analyst, Katie Spencer.
As Web Developer, Josh Chandler takes on the responsibility of several webdev related tasks. Some of those include development of new client websites, website maintenance for client websites, and in general, the doer of incoming webdev related tasks. Josh completes these tasks with a variety of tools and software along with his knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, and other web related programming languages. Josh has over 15 years of experience as a web developer in an agency setting and has a passion for what makes a website tick. This includes the technical items on the back-end but also what is seen by visitors of a website on the front-end.
